Natalia is a Certified Master Appraiser (NAJA). Natalia earned a BS from the San Jose School of Business, and is a GIA Graduate Gemologist.

    Sam has been passionate about jewelry and gemstones from a very young age (and would like to take a moment to apologize to his mother's friends who wore earrings within grabbing range). This has informed his whole life, from the shelves devoted to his childhood rock and crystal collection to the focus of his studies in archeology. Sam's professional background features time in retail and years of independent work as a jewelry appraiser and diamond grader.

Danielle most recently worked with some of the world’s most exquisite jewels while selling for Graff, and is thrilled to be part of the incredible team of experts at The RealReal.

    Julie Kerlin has 15+ years of professional experience in fine jewelry and watch appraising, diamond grading, gemstone identification, jewelry repair, and fine jewelry buying and selling.  Julie is a Certified Member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA) and an Accredited Senior Gemologist with the Accredited Gemologists Association (AGA).  While her focus is on fine jewelry and watch appraising, she has a passion for studying Georgian and Victorian sentimental jewelry, its manufacture, and how it was worn.  Her credentials also include Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees with a focus on International Finance, Art History, and Jewelry Arts.

    Hilary holds a BA in History from UC Berkeley, a Graduate Gemologist diploma from GIA, and she is a certified goldsmith. After completing her education at GIA, Hilary worked with estates where she specialized in vintage and antique jewelry, and developed a love for and fascination with antique and vintage watches. She has experience in multiple facets of the jewelry industry, including jewelry production, jewelry design, diamond and gemstone import, jewelry and watch appraisals, jewelry and watch repair and servicing, and fine jewelry and watch retail and wholesale.

    After graduating from UCCS with a BA in Communication, Amanda went on to GIA for Graduate Gemologist and Jewelry Design and Technology diplomas, as well as Advanced Colored Stone certificate from the Swiss SSEF laboratory.  She takes special interest in antique jewelry and the history behind them, which was inspired by traveling globally on buying trips to many auction houses and jewelry trade shows.  Amanda is a longtime Women’s Jewelry Association board member, GIA Alumni Association member, and winner of the WJA Charlotte Preston “Gets It Done” grant.

    Natasha began making beaded jewelry and accessories at a young age. Since then, her passion for fine jewelry and watches has blossomed into a daily ritual.  She is an alum of Tiffany & Co. with over 10 years of experience in the gem and jewelry trade. She covers many facets of the industry, including fine jewelry retail, manufacturing, wholesale, brokerage, and jewelry designs. She believes every piece of jewelry and watch symbolizes beauty and sophistication within itself. After graduating from the University of Southern California (USC) with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Marketing, she pursued her Graduate Gemologist and Jewelry Design & Technology degree from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

    Serge has been in the jewelry industry since he was sixteen working for his family's retail store. Since then his passion for this art has taken him to jewelry events and shows all over the word, Honk Kong, Istanbul, Dubai, Las Vegas, Tucson, New York... He has a BA in International Business, as well as a Graduate Gemology Degree from GIA. Being armed with that knowledge drove him to better understand the wonderful world of jewelry.     Growing up, Megan always had a love for gemstones and jewelry. She found herself even more infatuated when she discovered the Metals and Jewelry department at Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. After completing her Bachelors in Jewelry Design at SCAD, she worked for a year before going to California to attend the Gemological Institute of America. Once finished with her Graduate Gemologist degree, she worked for a family owned jeweler in the Chicago suburbs. She spent 12 years in the store helping clients, honing my buying skills and becoming the head appraiser.  She is excited to be working at TRR and having a greater exposure to Watches and Fine Jewelry.

    Growing up around the geological wonders of the Southwest, Amanda has had a lifelong passion for gems and minerals. After graduating from GIA in Carlsbad, CA as a Graduate Gemologist, she has spent over the last decade as a jewelry specialist in high end jewelry boutiques across the country. Her expertise is colored gemstone identification and has extensive experience in jewelry appraisals, repair management, and custom design.  She is thrilled to be a new member of The RealReal team and is looking forward to evaluating all of the many treasures our consignors bring in.

    Lori began her jewelry career in jewelry manufacturing working with an HSN Jewelry Company. She then transitioned to Estate Jewelry and Diamond Buying first with The Great Estate Roadshow and then at CIRCA. She has worked in handmade custom design jewelry helping clients bring their design ideas to life. With a Masters in Cross-Cultural Communications and a Diamond Graduate Degree from GIA, Lori's passion for jewelry has encouraged her to explore various facets of the jewelry industry creating a well-rounded knowledge of fine jewelry.

    Cathryn has her MA in Psychology from Adelphi University and her Graduate Gemologist degree from GIA. She most recently worked for Tiffany & Co. at the Tiffany Service Center; beginning in their Watch, Clock,& Bead Stringing Department and moving through all aspects of servicing until landing in management at their Customer Relations - Valuations Department. She particularly loves working with estate jewelry and meeting new consignors!

    Darshna studied English literature during her undergraduate studies and found an innate interest in literature, critical theory and writing. She decided to further her passions in Los Angeles at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, where she completed a degree in jewelry design. Going the distance, Darshna moved to New York City and gained a wealth of experience in product development through a fashion jewelry lifestyle brand. Relying back on her English degree, she decided to dabble into copywriting for fine jewelry and watches at The RealReal. She further pursued her interests at GIA where she completed the Graduate Gemologist certification.

    Mary has always had a love of creativity, whether in paintings, architecture, theatre, or fashion.  Her foray into the fine jewelry industry was an unpaid two-week internship in high school at a small boutique that focused on antique and estate jewelry.  That internship turned into a full-time job, which led Mary to earn her Graduate Gemology degree in New York right after she graduated from Scripps College in Claremont, California.  After earning her G.G., Mary worked as an appraiser before moving to Los Angeles, where she worked in wholesale, retail, buying, design, and production management.  When Mary moved back to New York, she joined The RealReal.  She enjoys seeing creativity come to life in different jewelry and watch designs, both old and new; however, her heart will always lie in the antique and vintage jewelry that brought her into the fine jewelry and watch industry years ago.

    Eliza has a BA in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Graduate Gemologist diploma from GIA. Over the past 10 years, Eliza has worked in practically every aspect of the jewelry industry, from small independent retail all the way to the diamond dealers on 47th Street. She has extensive experience in diamond procurement and manufacture and specializes in diamond valuations.

    Hagop Mouradian

    With a passion sparked by his father’s creations in gold and his grandmother’s jewelry collection, Hagop Daniel first entered the jewelry world as a high school student, apprenticing for many years under a fine jeweler and gemologist in Michigan. Since 2010, he has bought and sold jewels as investments for clients in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East through private sales and auctions. He takes special interest in natural pearls and jewels from the Belle Époque. Educated in the United States and France, he graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. from Kalamazoo College (research on the Chinese luxury goods market at the École Supérieure de Commerce de Clermont). He received his M.A. from Columbia University (research at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales [EHESS], the École Normale Supérieure [ENS], and the Sorbonne – Paris IV). He is also a licensed attorney, having earned his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law.

    With well over a decade in the industry, Jeiris brings extensive brand knowledge and client-facing expertise to The RealReal team. After several years with Omega, Jeiris brought his expertise to the secondary timepiece market, with a focus on authentication and the latest pricing trends.

    Stelen Stulberger

    Valuation Manager, Sneakers & Streetwear

    Stelen has been collecting sneakers for over 15 years, stemming from his passion for sports and culture. After graduating from University of Georgia in 2017 he moved to New York City and began his career at Stadium Goods. He went on to become General Manager at Round Two and open two flagship stores in New York and Miami. Besides sneakers, he is an avid traveler, fantasy sports enthusiast, and trading cards investor. Stelen is dedicated to providing an elite customer experience and trustworthy authentication process.

    Carlos Santos

    Valuation Manager, Sneakers & Streetwear

    Carlos was an engineering/design major at Virginia Tech where he gained his love for fine details and authentication. Prior to joining The RealReal, he was Round Two's first employee and manager which eventually brought him to Los Angeles, CA in 2016. Carlos has consulted for brands like Nike, Adidas, and 424 in the past as well as styled artists like Wiz Khalifa and Miguel. With 10 years of experience in the resale market, he is particularly well-versed in the streetwear and luxury realm.

    Amir Azarcon

    Valuation Manager, Sneakers & Streetwear

    Amir began collecting sneakers and streetwear in 2008 when he moved from California to New York City. His passion for vintage Nike sneakers and fashion landed him at Dover Street Market New York where he managed the Nikelab and contemporary men's space. He has also worked as a buyer at Round Two New York, a buy-sell and trade shop that specializes in streetwear, vintage, and sneakers. Now a veteran in the New York sneaker collecting scene, Amir is excited to bring his authentication and resell expertise to TheRealReal, where he aims to promote sustainability within the streetwear community.

    Parmida Hamzeh

    Parmida has over six years of experience in the luxury resale world. Before joining The RealReal, she worked for luxury resale companies as an authenticator, buyer, and stylist. Her love for fashion grows every day, and she feels as though preserving the craftsmanship of so many garments should be focused on. In doing so, Parmida is able to learn through past creations to show her clients how well-informed she is within the subject. She is excited to be a part of the leading company in the luxury resale market.

    Robert Finch

    Through studying photography at The Academy of Art University, Robert found himself completely immersed in the luxury fashion world. He has had the pleasure of seeing hundreds of thousands of fashion items over the years. Specializing in Louis Vuitton and Hermès maroquinière, Robert has a keen eye for well made pieces. Though he loves learning about all the new facets to luxury, he also enjoys sharing his varied knowledge with others.

    Brian Cossio

    Brian brings 20 plus years of experience in wardrobe refinement and fashion editing. Brian fell into handbags during his last year of undergrad, working at Saks Fifth Avenue in the early 2000's at the rise of the Baguette and Saddle bag - and was tasked with managing "the waitlist". His perspicacity for fashion history (90's era Chanel is a particular favorite), makes him a go to for those seeking to know more. Joining TRR in 2019 as a Luxury Manager, Brian has served as a Retail Consignment Specialist and Retail Handbag Expert in our West Hollywood flagship - giving him the full spectrum of the consignment business. Brian holds a dual Bachelors in English and Spanish from UCSB with a PhD. in shopping from American Express.

    Koyaana Redstar

    Valuation Manager, Fashion

    With more than 17 years of experience in the luxury resale market, Koyaana has amassed a wide skill set and an extensive product knowledge base of premier luxury brands across the globe, with a particular focus on Hermes, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton. After investing time in various brick-and-mortar consignment stores, Koyaana knew that e-commerce would change the industry and sought to break into the online sector. As the previous Director of Buying and Content Marketing Manager at Rebag, Koyaana expanded and honed her luxury brand knowledge and authentication skills with the intent to educate consumers about the secondary market. At The RealReal, Koyaana aspires to continue sharing her expertise with new and seasoned consignors alike.

    Chris Chavez

    Chris's love of design and fashion started at a young age. Quickly his interest led to design, graduating from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising's Fashion Knitwear Design program. During his studies, and in the beginning of his design journey, he grew an interest in sustainable fashion. While working with Cotton Inc, he learned of the impact fashion has on the environment. He shifted his focus into luxury fashion, creating memorable experiences for the Los Angeles area. After a variety of jobs in the fashion industry, Chris was discovered by Fashionphile. The resale industry fascinated him, and with his unique background of luxury, textiles, production, and fashion he is now an Fashion Expert here at TheRealReal.

    Ian Sexton

    Ian’s interest in fashion stemmed from managing a local fashion brand showroom where he was exposed to the e-commerce and wholesale markets. Ian went on to work in trade shows such as MAGIC in Las Vegas & Stylemax in Chicago and partnered with fashion e-commerce site REVOLVE. Ian had furthered his interest and commitment to the secondary market & sustainability by dedicating the past 6 + years to working with luxury consignment companies working with top stylists and VIP clientele. He takes pride in his brand knowledge of luxury designers with an emphasis on Louis Vuitton and Chanel handbags.

    Monica Leake

    Monica started a small home based consignment business in 2005 selling her friends designer handbags on eBay. Specializing in Chanel handbags, evolving into all designer brands. Since then her love for fashion has only grown. After 10 years she opened her very own luxury consignment boutique in Laguna Beach, California, where she facilitated private buying appointments, authenticated items, managed store operations and ran her entire consignor database. Monica is excited to meet new individuals and share her expertise about designer handbags.

    Keyundi Brown

    Keyundi holds a BA in Fashion Merchandising from The University of North Texas. He has worked in the consignment industry for four years and also at different levels of retail from GAP to Nordstrom. Keyundi developed a love for handbags when he began embracing his femininity and carrying them himself at the age of 18. He is passionate about staying up to date on trends within the market and consistently sharpening his authentication skills. Keyundi is inspired by The RealReal's dedication to not only sustainability, but also to diversity and inclusivity.

    Amanda Marcuson

    Senior Valuation Manager, Fashion

    Amanda’s passion for buying and selling on the secondary market began as a thirteen year old when she opened her first eBay store reselling everything from Beanie Babies to Prada bags. She went on to receive her Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising Management from The Fashion Institute of Technology. Her understanding of luxury brand authentication and pricing stemmed from her professional experience as the Accessories Market Assistant at Allure Magazine in New York and later as the Pricing and Authentication Director at a luxury consignment boutique in Dallas for over seven years collectively. To Amanda, the most fascinating part about being a Fashion Expert at The RealReal is having the ability to analyze real time pricing data and pinpoint secondary market trends on a daily basis.

    Julia Lund

    Julia has worked in the world of luxury resale for four years, but began her journey with the circular economy at a young age by buying and reselling designer handbags acquired from local auction houses. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, she spent the last six years in the San Francisco Bay area and holds a degree in Advertising from the University of San Francisco. Currently residing in Chicago, she considers Fendi handbags to be her area of expertise.

    Giselle Hundley

    Giselle has worked in the consignment industry for almost 10 years positioning herself as an expert in authentication for fashion and handbags. Her love of secondhand items began as a child when she went to many thrift and vintage stores with her mother. In her free time, one of her favorite hobbies is online window shopping to stay up to date on new brands, news trends and adding things to her cart without checking out.

    Kaitlyn Harburg

    Kaitlyn grew up in Tampa, FL. She discovered her love of fashion at an early age and would spend hours flipping through the pages of Vogue with a genuine appreciation of the luxury goods featured. Kaitlyn believes in extending the life of luxury items and also making high fashion more attainable; which is why she loves The RealReal. Kaitlyn has a B.S. in Business Management from Florida State University. Her background is in retail, and consignment management. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to venture into luxury resale, personal shopping and styling prior to joining TRR as a Valuation Manager, Fashion in Miami, FL. She is excited to put her knowledge of authentication and luxury brands to good use.

    Cassandra Rayburn

    Cassandra’s love of fashion began at age 4 - pouring over copy descriptions in the latest Sears or JCPenny catalogs. Throughout school, she delighted in helping friends find the perfect - and perfectly fitting - outfit for special occasions. Her interest in clothing and textiles led her to The University of Georgia where she studied Fashion Merchandising and Historic Costume. Throughout Cassandra’s education and in her career, she has had the opportunity to work in visual merchandising, textile labs, vintage collections, at festivals, front-of-house, back-of-house, warehouses, and in people’s homes. For the past 10 years she has worked in resale and has assisted clients with the consignment of over one million items.  

    Shaniqua King

    Shaniqua was born and raised on the island of St. Croix. After moving to Connecticut, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising and Retail Buying. She has worked in the fashion industry both retail and luxury consignment for the last ten years. She has seven years of fashion valuation experience and is passionate about enforcing The RealReal mission to empower consignors and buyers to extend the life cycle of luxury goods in a way that honors luxury brands.

    Mario Diaz-Moresco

    Prior to joining The RealReal, Mario acquired expertise in vintage handbags from Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Hermès while working with a family-run luxury resale company. His love of timeless, vintage pieces grew from childhood, selling antiques and vintage clothing at flea markets with his mother. He is a classically trained singer who has performed professionally since childhood and holds degrees from the University of Colorado, the University of Southern California and Mannes The New School.

    Lex Valle-Rodriguez

    Lex’s background in fashion took off while working at a consignment store where he was a buyer, valuing and pricing items daily in a client-facing environment. Adhering to seasonal trends and condition standards, he successfully excelled in the realm of second-hand consignment. As a Luxury and Authentication Expert at a Peer 2 peer Marketplace, his authentication knowledge and expertise has only increased due to deciphering the difference between real and highly questionable items through images. His experiences at said companies have given him critical insight into how to oversee a company-wide authentication effort. He believes Authentication is the foundation of any P2P marketplace or luxury consignment outlet. It’s a science so complex that he sees it as an art form. Authentication and the secondary market have always been a passion and a personal project of his, and he feels lucky to live it out in his professional life. He continues to further his knowledge by inspecting pieces daily and researching up-and-coming brands and trends.

    Chelsea Mack

    With over a decade in the fashion industry, Chelsea brings not only authentication and pricing knowledge but also a focus on delivering superior service to her role at The RealReal. Chelsea studied at FIDM and Florida State University before entering management roles at both contemporary and luxury brand boutiques. Over a six-year tenure at a pre-loved luxury handbag startup based in Atlanta, GA she completely fell in love with the circular economy, hunting down impossible-to-find vintage handbags and building a consignment-based business. Her passion is for sharing knowledge and spreading excitement and joy about luxury handbags to consignors and customers alike!

    Adrienne Williams

    Valuation Manager, Fashion

    Adrienne started her career with The RealReal five years ago. Her obsession with handbags began when she joined TRR’s High Risk Authentication team. Some of her current favorite handbag brands are Chanel, Goyard, and Bottega Veneta. Prior to joining The Real Real, Adrienne worked in retail for six years and studied fashion journalism and marketing at the Academy Of Art University. Her current role as a Handbag Valuation Manager combines her skills of retail, authentication, and fashion knowledge, which she loves to share with consignors.

    Nicole McGrath

    Nicole began collecting handbags at a young age and turned it into a career after earning a degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Post-graduation, Nicole worked in various fashion business roles at Nordstrom, Michael Kors, and Solstice Sunglasses, before finding her passion in the luxury resale sector. At the moment, Nicole is studying French to further her proficiency in the luxury market. After almost 4 years developing her craft in the field, Nicole is thrilled to bring her luxury pricing and authentication expertise to The RealReal!

    Cynthia Buchan

    Cynthia Buchan carries over 8 years of experience as an assistant merchandiser for multiple vendor groups and fashion houses, including Swank Incorporation, Swarovski and Hugo Boss. While completing her degrees at the New York City College of Technology and Art Institutes of New York, interest in the then-untapped luxury resale market became a forefront as she recognized fashion retail changing before her. Her affinity for handbags grew, as did her knowledge of manufacturing and craftsmanship as she explored this new market, starting with The RealReal in 2015. She prefers not to limit herself with one or two specific designers, but rather endlessly self-educate to further refine herself into an extensive and ever-changing expert.

    Julio (he/him) is a 6-year veteran at the RealReal with two decades of online resale and one decade of fashion consignment experience. With a passion for pop culture and celebrity style from the 1990s - 2010s, Julio specializes in vintage luxury designer handbags and archival ready-to-wear. When he's not examining the details of sought after leather goods and rare runway designs, Julio can be found riding CitiBike or searching for the perfect street taco in Manhattan.

    Jenna Prager

    Lead Valuation Manager, Fashion

    Jenna began her journey at The RealReal as part of the Inside Sales organization working directly with consignors and their high value items. She always had a love for handbags, and was ecstatic to join TRR’s High Risk Authentication team where she sharpened her authentication skills and was able to study the nuances of each luxury brand. She was fortunate to combine these two passions together to become Lead Valuation Manager, Handbags in the Luxury Consignment Office. Jenna furthers her authentication knowledge by researching and investigating newly released designer styles and inspecting production quality hands-on, tying in her other passion, shopping. She enjoys sharing brand knowledge with her peers and educating consignors with her findings - the more you know, the less you faux!

    Regional Lead Jewelry & Watch Valuations Manager

    Anne has an Anthropology degree from the University of New Mexico and a GIA Graduate Degree. She started her Fine Jewelry career at an estate jewelry firm, buying directly from the public and then went on to work as a jewelry specialist at Hindman Auctioneers.  While at Hindman, she helped bring several important single owner sales to the market, including The Estate of Rita Dee Hassenfeld collection.  She has a lifelong passion for jewelry, particularly vintage Van Cleef & Arpels and Bvlgari.     As a GIA gemologist graduate, Josephine's seven years of experience bring a keen eye to uncovering the intricate nuances involved in authenticating branded jewelry. Her particular interests include market research of watches, gemstones, and diamonds to ensure she stays ahead of the curve. With a genuine love for period pieces, Josephine's deep appreciation for the science, art, and history within the profession deepens in her role.

    Over the years, Kaitlyn has honed her expertise in everything from appraisals to diamond buying at fine jewelry retailers including Razny Jewelers, David Gardner’s Jewelers and Jones Bros. Jewelers. She loves how The RealReal’s consignment process reduces the strain on the environment and prolongs the lifecycle of luxury items. Kaitlyn holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bradley University, a Graduate Gemologist degree from GIA and a Certified Gemologist degree from AGS.

    Kara's interest in gemstones was sparked in the geology department at Hofstra University, where she received a Bachelors of Science.     Over the last fifteen years, Lauren has worked in everything from production and retail to design and after-sales service, spending a significant amount of time at Tiffany & Co. as a Valuations Specialist. Lauren appreciates that jewelry has the potential to last several generations, since few products are crafted to stand the test of time and transcend trends.     Mary Jane's lifelong love of gems and jewelry led her to design, metalsmithing and gemology.     Samantha has over 12 years of industry experience. She holds a Graduate Gemologist degree from GIA. Her foray into the fine jewelry world began with a mentorship from her hometown jeweler.     Sarah is a jewelry enthusiast and G.I.A. Graduate Gemologist.     Billy Garcia

    Senior Valuation Manager, Fashion

    Billy began selling and buying vintage clothing at the age of fifteen, and since then his love for fashion has only grown. He was a Senior Buyer at Decades Inc. for six years, where he facilitated in-store and private buying appointments, managed store operations and oversaw the entire consignor database. During that time, Billy also rented out and resold pieces from his extensive designer archive of Gianni Versace, Margiela and Balenciaga. He enjoys working in the fashion industry because he is intrigued by the freedom of self-expression that clothing affords each individual, and is excited to help change people’s perceptions of the luxury resale market. Billy has an Associate’s Degree in Fashion and Apparel Design from FIDM and is an Accredited Jewelry Professional of GIA.

    Clementine Bernard

    Clementine is a Fine Art specialist with a focus in 19th century European painting and Post War and Contemporary art. Raised in Paris where she grew her love for art and architecture, Clementine has relocated to Los Angeles from New York where she finds the contemporary scene to be flourishing and stimulating. She holds Master's degrees from both Sorbonne University in Paris and Columbia University in New York.

    Erin Brown

    Erin has experience working in the luxury consignment industry for 10+ years. Prior to joining The RealReal, she worked as a Senior Buyer and Authenticator at Fashionphile for seven years, getting hands-on experience with handbags, jewelry, and other luxury goods. Her specialty as an expert is handbag authentication and identification, with particular knowledge of brands such as Chanel, Hermès, Louis Vuitton and Gucci. Erin loves to continue furthering her knowledge of luxury fashion and is passionate about upholding brand integrity through authentication. She is dedicated to educating consignors about the secondary market and extending the life cycle of luxury fashion. She holds a BA in Apparel Merchandising and Marketing from California State University of Northridge.

    Hannah is a fine art and furniture specialist focusing on Post-War and Contemporary Art, and Design. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art with a concentration in Photography, as well as a certification in Museum and Gallery Practices from Humboldt State University. Hannah also studied the auction market as it pertains to Impressionist, Modern, and Contemporary Art through New York University.

    Hope has lived and traveled around the world in pursuit of her passion for gemology and watches and after more than 30 years in the industry, she is still just as enamored today as she was when first starting out, bringing her wealth and depth of knowledge to every appointment. Hope has honed her expertise in sales, management and jewelry appraisal at companies including Diamonds Direct, Tiffany & Co., SAKS 5th Avenue and Montblanc.     Kevin is an authentication expert specializing in Chanel, Hermès and Goyard handbags and accessories. His fascination with fashion stemmed from an early obsession with street style photography by icons such as Bill Cunningham, Phil Oh and Tommy Ton. Prior to joining The RealReal, Kevin worked as a luxury authenticator and appraiser at consignment site Fashionphile.

    Kiara Cooper

    Senior Valuation Manager, Fashion

    Kiara earned her degree in Fashion Merchandising from LIM College. While in school she interned at Marc Jacobs working specifically with handbags and small leather goods. During that time she learned a lot about the full circle moments and collaboration it takes to bring a design to life. Kiara's love for design and craftsmanship is the reason she appreciates handbags to such a great extent. She admires the techniques of Alexander McQueen and Rei Kawakubo, and is a self proclaimed Philophile. Her favorite brands are Loewe, Totême, The Row, Hermès and Celine. In addition to design and craftsmanship, she loves how fashion can evoke emotions and allow one to express who they truly are.

    Liz Sennett

    Senior Manager, Valuations

    Liz got her start in the industry studying at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, and became familiar with luxury brand signatures, construction and materials while working for high-end retailer Saks Fifth Avenue. After years of working in brick-and-mortar consignment, Liz brought her handbag authenticating and pricing expertise to The RealReal, where she enjoys educating consignors and peers on the value of their pieces.

    Sean Conway

    Regional Lead Valuation Manager, Sneakers and Streetwear

    Sean has collected, bought and sold sneakers since 1999, a passion which has helped form his identity and spawn his career. Born in Maryland, Sean moved to NYC in 2011 and worked as a manager at cult streetwear store KITH for four years. He went on to manage Dover Street Market New York's Sneaker + Streetwear Space. An eighteen-year veteran of the sneaker collecting scene, Sean believes the culture has never been bigger than it is now, and that it shows no signs of slowing down. He is most excited about applying his years of experience to growing a platform with sustainable values, and making TRR a valued sneaker destination.

    Danielle Grivet

    Senior Valuation Manager, Fashion

    Danielle started her luxury fashion journey during her time abroad in London. As a Sales Associate at Harrods, she developed in-depth knowledge by working directly for brands such as Prada and Celine, and attended extensive leather goods training in Paris, Milan and Tuscany. Danielle joined The RealReal in 2017 and developed an in-depth skill set in our Authentication Center which reflects in her valuations at our Luxury Consignment Offices. Danielle brings her attention to detail and eye for quality craftsmanship to our expert team.

    Eileen Donovan, G.G.

    Valuation Manager, Fine Jewelry & Watches

    Eileen’s interest in gems and jewelry was sparked during her childhood, when she would wander for hours in the Smithsonian’s Museum of Natural History. She went on to earn a Graduate Gemologist degree from GIA and completed post-baccalaureate studies in Russian at the University of Wisconsin and Saratov University. Eileen takes special interest in Fabergé and Russian antique collectibles, and brings experience in jewelry appraisal, sales and finance to her position at The RealReal.

    Kamilla Akbarova, G.G.

    Before coming to The RealReal, Kamilla worked as a buyer and trader of diamonds and colored stones in New York’s Diamond District. She earned her BA from Berkeley College and a Graduate Gemology Degree from the Gemological Institute of America. At GIA, she worked as both a diamond grader and trainer, grading the quality of stones and jewelry as well as teaching others about the process. Kamilla is currently fascinated by watch brands A. Lange & Söhne and Patek Philippe, and her passion for gemstones is deeply rooted in memories of playing with her mother’s jewelry as a child.

    Lauren Robbins

    Valuation Manager, Fine Jewelry & Watches

    Lauren’s passion lies in the delicate details of fine jewelry, and she loves to learn about consignors through their pieces as no two collections are the same. Prior to joining The RealReal, Lauren honed her fine jewelry expertise as Business Manager of Jewelry at Bonhams Auction House, where she finalized consignor contracts, cataloged individual pieces and coordinated jewelry sales. Her fine jewelry knowledge is also informed by her experience in the arts in past positions at Christie’s, the Nassau County Museum of Art and The Heckscher Museum of Art. Lauren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of Michigan and a Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America.
